Mateo is on his way to Boulder Colorado for the Google SketchUp 3D Basecamp and hopefully he will be able to keep us updated on what is going on there. He is looking forward to meeting all the Google folk and those SketchUp users who have traveled from all around the world to be there. He will be representing SketchUpArtists their and hopefully gathering the news as it happens and learning new tricks from the experts. In this short tutorial I will show you my work-flow in texturing this scene using Podium, SketchUp 7 and Photoshop. The methodology has been discussed before, but I would love to share it again for those of you who may have missed it.

Matthew L. Facundus sent us a super easy tutorial for creating the effect of day time fog aerial view and then using that same effect for a night scene. This method is used to create the illusion of fog for an aerial perspective using GIMP. See here…
